Ingredients:
- 4 slices brioche or thick sliced bread
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tbsp J. Olive Co. Butter Olive Oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Powdered sugar for dusting
- Recommended toppings: sliced bananas, whipped cream, drizzle of hazelnut spread
Chocolate Balsamic Drizzle:
- 2 tbsp J. Olive Co. Dark Chocolate Balsamic
- 1 tsp maple syrup
Instructions:
- In a shallow dish, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, salt, and 1 tbsp Butter Olive Oil.
- Soak bread slices in the mixture, coating both sides.
- Cook on a lightly greased skillet over medium heat until golden brown on both sides.
- For the drizzle, stir Dark Chocolate Balsamic with maple syrup and warm slightly in a small saucepan.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve French toast with balsamic drizzle and toppings of choice.
