Ingredients:

Milkshakes
  • 8 ounces Cold-Brew Black Coffee Concentrate
  • 10 large fresh figs, stems removed
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 4 ounces dark rum
  • 1/2 cup J. Olive Co. Fig balsamic
Garnish
  • 2 figs, stems trimmed and sliced
  • unsweetened whipped cream

Directions:

  1. Make a balsamic reduction by pouring the balsamic into a small saucepan. Turn heat to medium high and bring to a boil. Once it’s boiling, reduce heat to a simmer and let it cook down for about 5 mins. Stir occasionally. Be sure to keep an eye on it because it can burn quickly. It’s a reduction when it coats the back of a spoon.

  2. Set out two Collins glasses. If desired, press sliced figs into the sides of the glasses for visual effect.
  3. To make milkshakes, combine Cold-Brew Black Coffee Concentrate and fresh figs in the pitcher of a blender. Blend until mixture is smooth, but still has a few flecks of fig. Add ice cream, fig simple syrup, and rum, and blend just until combined and creamy.

  4. Pour milkshakes into glasses and garnish with whipped cream and a fig slice. Serve immediately.
